Most tattoo directories start with a map and ask you to filter down. We start with the work. Pick a style, see every piece from every listed studio that matches it, then follow the images that speak to you back to the artist who made them.

Comparison as a deliberate act

Getting a tattoo is a permanent decision. We built a three-slot comparison so you can hold artists’ work side-by-side — portfolio, prices, walk-in policy, council licensing — and share the shortlist with whoever you trust.

Council-licensed

Every legal UK tattoo studio is registered with its local council. Where we can verify that registration, we show the badge. Absence of a badge means we could not verify — not that the studio is unlicensed.
